QED delivers product to Qatar Petroleum Foundation and Exxon France
January 2009
The Qatar Petroleum Foundation and Exxon France have entered trial phases our our VPI 1020 Patch product employed on corroding pipes.  Very much like our breadwinner product 580, these 10ml patches are used every meter, then over-wrapped to allow the product to migrate along the pipe.  We are absolutely positive the product will do the job. In less than 90 days, we expect to ramp up operations to provide these two impressive clients all the necessary product they require.



QED UK establishes US Distributor - QEDChem-USA

QED opens a new distribution for its range of products in North and South America.  New leads are opening in Canada and soon in the hurricane ravaged southern US states and the Caribbean.

QED has appointed Beijing Jinpusen Tech.Co.,Ltd as its new Chinese distributor


QED has been looking for a partner in China for some time and has appointed Jinpusen Tech as its representative in China. Jinpusen bring with them over 15 years experience in the Chinese Conrete Repair Industry.
 
Jinpusen are currently progressing approvals for the full range of QED products according to local legislation and hope to be using QED's products later in 2007.

QED is developing new paint on corrosion inhibitor

QED has began development of a new paint on corrosion inhibtor that is useful for protecting bridge structures that cannot use our normal range of inhibitors.
 
Dominic Brodrick, UK MD, states 'we have recognised the need for a specialist product that can be used where are other products can't, typicall were drilling concrete could lead to a loss in the structural integrity in pre and post-formed structures. Once the trials have been completed, we aim to have the product on the market by November 2007'
